Vincent van Gogh (1853 – 1890)

Meet van Gogh, a postimpressionist of Dutch origin. His “Sunflowers” and “Starry Night” are known to everyone. But do you think you’ll recognize at least 10 more of his 900 paintings?

Who is he?

Born on March 30, 1853, in the Netherlands, in a small village Zundert. With a capricious nature and thirst for creativity. The father was a pastor and the son became an artist. Two different worlds collapsed in one bloodline spawned the constant disputes between the sacred and the creative. Only Theo, one of four siblings supported the artist and shared his views throughout his life. Instead, Van Gogh himself was always lonely, odd, poor and obsessed with self-searching.
